UNIXy is a feature-rich Varnish cache plugin for WHM servers developed by UNIXy. It allows you to install, and manage Varnish Cache in WHM server.

UNIXy gives you a web interface in WHM, allowing you to modify Varnish settings, lookup caching stats, refresh the Varnish cache, restart Varnish, etc. It supports both dynamic and static object caching. In this tutorial, we'll assist you to install and remove UNIXy Varnish plugin in WHM server.

Installing UNIXy cPanel Varnish Plugin


UNIXy can be installed in WHM server by applying following commands.

cd /root/cp_plugins/varnish.unixy.net-3.2.2-el7
python installvarnish

Removing UNIXy cPanel Varnish Plugin


To remove UNIXy plugin, navigate where you had previously unpacked the plugin. Normally, it’s under /usr/src/varnish.unixy.net and run below command. 

python uninstallvarnish
